Curriculum Vitae

I have been a registered nurse since 2014, primarily working in general medicine after graduate rotations in plastic, vascular and general surgery; and medical and interventional cardiology. Over my time in general medicine, I have taken on a number of roles from acting as charge nurse, to educating students and graduate nurses, as well as supporting staff as a super user during the rollout of an electronic medical record system. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I worked on a COVID Assessment Ward, where suspected COVID-19 patients were cared for until their results were available. During this time, as one of the more senior nurses, I worked most of my shifts as nurse in charge. In 2021 I began working in nursing education, supporting new graduates primarily. I continue to study theology part-time but I am unclear of my vocation, or the reason I've felt drawn to study, apart from a pure enjoyment in the art of learning.
